Jade Elephant’s debut EP “So Far” highlights the rock power trio’s versatility through a blend of studio and live recordings.
The EP features studio recordings of original singles “Bad Thing", “Listen to the Beatles", and “Take Me Back", all produced by Juno award winner Russell Broom at OCL Studios.
Interspersed between these original tracks are live renditions of the band's takes on “Funk #49” by the James Gang and “You Keep Me Hangin’ On” by The Supremes/Vanilla Fudge, culminating in an extended live version of
“Bad Thing”, recorded by Graham Torn live at the Blues Can in the band’s hometown Calgary, AB and mixed by Russell Broom.
